He was our host and wrote an introduction for the booklet of the CD:

"When the boys of The Night Time Heroes Blues Band asked me if they could record a CD in DE BLAUWE WOLK Live Music Cafe, my first reaction was "Oh no, not again…!". Just kidding! On the contrary, it’s a privilege to host a mad gang like The Night Time Heroes Blues Band.

Their greatest merit is that they are the perfect ambassadors for our favourite music. These guys demonstrate that Chicago and/or Texan blues can be very accessible and "danceable" for non-blues fans too. Their enthousiasm and drive on stage are really contagious. Whether at a concert in a club, on a pub crawl or at a festival, I never have seen these boys disappoint the public.

Whenever there’s a jam on somewhere, you can bet one or other member of The Night Time Heroes Blues Band will be involved. I have personally seen them jam with the likes of Steve ‘Big Man’ Clayton, Johnny Ferreira, Kent Duchaine, Larry Garner and Alex Schultz. It was Alex Schultz, by the way, who complimented them spontaneously and extensively after their support act.

And what’s more, a loyal following cannot be deceived with impunity. Their many "die-hard" fans only go to prove that The Night Time Heroes Blues Band are on the right musical path: no bull*bleep*, just step on the gas.

If only there were a few more blues bands like The Night Time Heroes Blues Band in Belgium, the life of a blues promotor would be so much easier and more attractive.
